It's been a while since I've posted... but I am still spray tanning in sunny Reading!

I have been incredibly slack with the blog and posting on socials but still here, tanning strong!

I have been so bad at updating the blog and my socials over the last two years as just been so busy spray tanning but I have made it my mission to get back to it. I have had the honour of spraying hundreds of bridal spray tans in that time, along with hundreds of holiday spray tans, photoshoot spray tans and lots of 'just because' tans and each and every time - I am so thankful that clients put their trust in me for their spray tans.

It is looking to be another busy summer - booking up fast!

The summer diary is filling up very fast, so many weddings and holidays being booked - it is so lovely to see lots of my regular clients and welcoming new clients as well!

Monthly Tan Membership!

That's right! If you tan every week you can now get a professional spray tan 3 times a month for just £54 a month.

That is 3 tans for the price of 2 signatures, so if you have the express tan that's a whopping saving of £12!

I recommend tanning every 10 days to get the best results and make sure you exfoliate as always :)

It is a rolling monthly contract and my wonderful booking system Fresha take care of the payment details, you can cancel it at any time. All tans at Bronze & Glow (no mobile appointments) and you must use up the 3 tans within each month.

2022 - the year for weddings!

Last year was such a busy year for weddings and 2022 is looking like it will be much of the same.

I am always so honoured when clients choose me for their wedding day spray tan, it is such an important accessory to their wedding day outfit so I always make sure that every bridal spray tan has that extra little bit of care and attention to detail needed to make it absolutely perfect for the big day.

I offer bridal packages that include 2 trial tans as well as the spray tan for the big day, this ensures that we can perfect the right colour and shade for you. Clients often use the trials for their hen do's or make up trials and if you are short of time then I am happy to offer a mini package with just 1 trial.

If you want to get your bridal party involved as well then just let me know and I can even tan you all together if you like, adds a bit of fun to the tan :)

Photoshoot Spray Tan and Bodybuilding Competition Spray Tan

I am so happy to tell you that I have completed my Advanced Tanning and Competition Tanning training!

I am now fully trained and accredited by Black Magic Pro Tan (Muscle Tan) in Competition Tanning, so I can now do Spray Tans for Bodybuilding Competitions, and my first shows are already booked in for London 2022!

With Advanced Tanning, I trained in Photoshoot/ Videoshoot Spray Tan including airbrush contouring to give that subtle accentuation to existing muscles perfect for fitness photoshoot, perhaps a fitness magazine or transformation photoshoot! For fashion photoshoots I can even create the illusion of smaller or bigger bottoms, legs, arms and bust! Even subtle contouring to the face to make nose, chin cheekbones, forehead smaller or larger - whatever you want!

Top tips for a Wedding Spray Tan!

Your guide to achieving the perfect tan on your wedding day…

A natural-looking tan looks perfect against a white wedding dress, and helps your skin to look healthy, glowing and flawless. While you could of course apply self tan, most brides-to-be choose to have a professional spray tan for their wedding to guarantee a perfect finish.

At Bronze & Glow, we recommend having a bridal tanning fittting a few weeks prior to the big day. Just as you have a hair and makeup trial to make sure you’re happy with your final look, so too should you trial out your tan.

Finding the perfect shade

Finding the right spray tan shade is a personal thing. And just like when you’re choosing a foundation, you’ll need to try a few shades to find exactly the tone that will suit you best.

There are six spray tan solutions to choose from, as well as our luxurious manually applied tan. This means that whether you’re after a warm healthy glow or a deep, rich tan that would rival ten days in the sun, there will be a shade that perfectly suits you and your needs. At you tanning fitting, you’ll be able to discuss what look you’re hoping to achieve, and your therapist can then suggest what is best for you.

Always be completely honest when assessing the results of your spray tan fittings – it is important that you are completely happy and comfortable with your spray tan results, so let your tanning therapist know if you’d like your tan darker or lighter. Browse through bridal magazines for inspiration, and if you find a model who has the type of tan you’re looking for then you can bring the picture along to your spray tan fitting.

Planning your time

Plan your spray tan around other treatments for the best results on your wedding day. Manicures, pedicures, waxing, exfoliations and facials should all be carried out before your spray tan as they will remove colour. Discuss any beauty preparations with your tanning therapist and they will create a personal bridal spray tanning package that could take you from two or three months prior to your wedding right up to your final fitting.

It’s also important to work out how long before the wedding you would like your spray tan. As part of your trial, once you’ve had your tan, make a mental or written note on which day you liked the colour of the tan best. For example, if you like the colour best on Day Two and you’re getting married on a Saturday, you’ll know to book your tan on the Thursday before your wedding.

Tanning your bridal party

As any bride-to-be will know, it’s important to keep your bridal party happy too. Why not throw a spray tanning wedding party for your bridesmaids and mother of the bride? The hen party could be the perfect trial run for all of your tans, and then can be repeated before the big day. Talk to your therapist about arranging a party at home.

And don’t forget the groom…

Although they might deny it, we all know that the boys secretly enjoy a bit of pampering – and the number of grooms getting bronzed before the big day is growing rapidly. Grooms all want to look their very best on their wedding day, so why not book your other half in for a spray tan too? He’ll not only feel more confident, but he’ll also look much healthier in those all-important wedding photos!

How much does a spray tan cost

A full body spray tan will cost you between £25 - £30 pounds. The Sienna X Signature Spray Tan which you leave to develop overnight (or 8-10 hours) will cost you £25 and the Sienna X Express Spray Tans which you wash off in 1-4 hours will cost a little more at £30.

Be careful of any spray tan companies offering lower prices (without an offer) as it may not be as good a product or service, you do get what you pay for after all!
